Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, #ACEONDO resumption date for the commencement of first semester, 2018/2019 academic session and highlights of academic activities for the session.

Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo (ACEONDO) will on Monday, 28th January, 2019 begin a new academic session with a screening exercise for freshmen.

Prior to that, returning students are expected to move into their places of residence on Sunday, 27th January, 2019 while freshmen would be expected in their places of residence on Monday 28th January, 2019.

Immediately after the screening exercise, an orientation exercise for the freshmen would begin on Monday, February 4, 2019 through Friday, February, 8, 2019.

Not to be sidetracked, returning students- NCE III, Degree III and Degree IV would begin their Teaching Practice/Counselling Practicum Orientation on Tuesday, 29th January, 2019.

On Monday, February 11, 2019, lectures would begin for NCE 1, II, Degree I and II, as well as registration for all categories of students.

This registration is expected to end officially on Sunday, 3rd March, 2019 while registration with penalty would commence and end on Monday 4th March and Sunday, 5th May respectively.

Meanwhile, Teaching/Counselling Practicum for Degree III and IV Students would be expected to end on Monday, 8th March 2019 while that of NCE III students would end on Friday 17th May, 2019.

To fully integrate the freshmen into the College, a matriculation ceremony would be conducted on Wednesday, 20th March for NCE students and Thursday, 21st March for Degree students.

Lectures for all categories of students would end on Friday, May 3, 2019.

This is so that students would be able to prepare for their examination and to facilitate their success in the examination; revisions for students would begin on Monday, May 6 and end on Friday May 10, 2019.

The new semester would end with a break from on the 10th June, 2019 after the examinations which would begin on Monday 13th May through Friday 7th June, 2019.

This is to inform all the students of the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State (ACEONDO) that would be embarking on Teaching Practice (TP) during the 2018/2019 academic session that the management of the college has released the duration of the teaching practice exercise and the procedure for the payment of teaching practice fee.

The Teaching Practice Exercise for 2018/2019 session has been approved to commence on 28th January, 2019, students are hereby informed to note the following for necessary action.


1) Duration of Teaching Practice Exercise

• NCE III Students – The whole of Harmattan Semester
  
• Degree Students – Six Weeks
  

2) Payment of Teaching Practice Fee

• NCE III Students – Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00)

An eligible candidate must possess a minimum of merit pass in relevant Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) course combinations. In addition, a candidate shall possess a minimum of 5 O’Level credit at a maximum of Two Sittings which should include credit in English Language for all courses and credit in mathematics for all B.Sc. Ed. Courses.

4. There are two methods of payment

2. Bank Payment

· Visit any bank nationwide
· Ask to use the Etranzact PayOutlet platform to pay for Adeyemi College of Education 2017/2018 Part time Degree Application Fee and pay the sum of #10,000.00 (bank charges may apply)

Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, #ACEONDO part-time NCE Sandwich admission form for the 2018/2019 academic session is out.


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Part Time NCE Sandwich Programmes of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo for the 2018/2019 Contact Session.


The Programme is designed to prepare students for NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION.

ACEONDO Part-Time NCE Sandwich Admission Requirements.
i. Grade II Teachers Certificate, 3 of which must be at Credit level in the relevant subject areas

ii. 5 passes at the Ordinary Level GCE/SSCE/NECO including English Language, 3 of which must be at credit level in one sitting or 4 credit at 2 sittings

iii. For Primary Education Studies combination: Teachers Grade II Certificate with passes in all subjects and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience

iv. For Business Education, candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
(a) 5 passes at the Ordinary level GCE/WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language with at least 3 credits at a sitting or 4 credit at 2 sitting in the following subjects: Economics, Principles of “Accounts, shorthand, Business Education, Introduction to business Management, Typewriting, commerce or any other relevant subject. A pass in mathematics is a compulsory requirement;
(b) Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with credit or merit passes with at least a pass in mathematics and credit in English Language or
(c) WAEC Commercial or RSA Stage II Certificate with passes at not more than 2 sittings in five subjects including English Language and 3 relevant subjects chosen from (a) above.

How to Apply for ACEONDO Part-Time NCE Sandwich Admission.
1. Visit http://aceondo.net/
2. Click on “Apply Online”
3. Choose “2018/2019 Part Time NCE Sandwich Application”,, choose your username, enter your email and choose a password, and click “Apply”

4. There are two methods of payment

1. Online Payment: Click on “Make Payment”, follow the on screen instructions, enter your card details when requested.

2. Bank Payment
· Visit any bank nationwide
· Ask to use the Etranzact PayOutlet platform to pay for Adeyemi College of Education Part Time NCE Sandwich Application Fee and pay the sum of #5,000.00 (bank charges may apply)

· The bank will generate a PIN (Confirmation Order No) for the processing of the application online.

5. Click “My Application” and fill the form correctly as editing is not allowed once application form is submitted

6. Candidates must ensure that they print hard copy of the processed application form and submit two (2) copies to the Directorate of Part Time Studies, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo.

CLOSING DATE: All applications must be submitted not later than Friday, 15th February, 2019 as lectures will commence in March, 2018.

Adeyemi College Acceptance fee – The management of the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State (#ACEONDO) has released the amount payable as acceptance fee by all the newly admitted candidates into the college DEGREE and NCE programmes for the 2018/2019 academic session..




This is to inform all the candidates offered provisional admission into the Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State (ACEONDO) that they are required to pay the stipulated admission acceptance fee as explained below.


Adeyemi College of Education Acceptance Fee.
All the newly admitted candidates are required to make payment of a non-refundable Acceptance fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (#25,000.00) for Degree and Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000.00) only for NCE Candidates.

Closing date for payment of the acceptance fee is 20th November, 2018.

Any candidate who fails to pay on or before the closing date would have his/her admission reversed and the space allocated to those on waiting list.
