After being surprised yesterday, Laycon has written a heartfelt message to his fans for gifting him a car.
The BBNaija 2020 winner in an emotional thank you message said his fans are the best.

He appreciated his fans whom he addressed as iCONs for making him winner of BBNaija season 5 and most importantly, for gifting him a luxurious Mercedes Benz car gift on his birthday yesterday, November 8.

Describing the love as unimaginable, Laycon vowed to always make his fans proud as way of paying them back.

He wrote:

Yesterday was 8/11, the day of my birth and iCONs did what I personally consider the unimaginable.

Exactly 6 weeks (to the day) after giving me a dream of winning a competition I did not even think I stood a chance at, you decided that was not enough and went further to shower me with the kind of love that it is hard to comprehend.

From 10pm on the eve of my birthday, the love has not stopped. From my waking moment yesterday, till I laid my head to sleep, it has all been a dream. Thank you for this unearned love.

Words fail me to express how deeply moved, humbled and grateful I am for your kind words, your prayers, your presence and your gifts. I mean, in the space of 6 weeks, you have gifted me two luxury vehicles! Laycon now has a Benzo!!!

A twitter user has rumoured that the winner of the BBNaija season 5 reality TV show, Laycon, will be among the featured artist in Davido‘s “A Better Time” album.
The “A Better Time”, or “ABT” as it is fondly called is the third studio album by Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido. The album is rumoured to have various artists, both international and local, on it.

Recently, a twitter user has revealed that the album will also be having Nigeria’s most sought after Big Brother Naija winner, Laycon, among the list of featured artists.

#Laycon, the Big Brother Naija lockdown 2020 winner, has revealed the first person he is spending his N30 million cash prize on.
Recall that Laycon also won other prize monies running into millions from tasks and challenges while in the house.

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun gave him a cheque of N5 million few days ago as well as keys to a new apartment in Ogun State.

“The first thing I am going to do with the money is for my mum,” Laycon said in one of media outings at the weekend.

“I am certain that the first thing I want to do with the money is for my mum.”

Laycon, who said he entered the reality TV show only to promote himself and his song, emerged winner of the 5th edition of BBN with Dorathy coming as first runner-up.

Nigerians have lambasted the 2020 Big Brother Naija winner, Olamilekan ‘#Laycon’ Agbeleshe for shooting a music video amidst the ongoing EndSARs protest.

The protest against police brutality and harassment started over 72 hours and has since reached far and near corners of the country and outside.

Angry youths have however called out the recently crowned Ogun State youth ambassador, Laycon for neglecting the ongoing movement and focusing on his career instead.


In a series of tweets on Twitter, some users called Laycon names; from being a useless youth ambassador, to weed addict, etc.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Olamilekan Moshood Agbelesebioba, popularly known as #LAYCON, winner of the just concluded Big Brother Naija, as the Youth Ambassador of the State.
Governor Abiodun who made the announcement when he played host to LAYCON, in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, also gave Laycon a three-bedroom bungalow and five million naira only.

Abiodun expressed the hope that his good character, excellence, good virtues, calmness, integrity, would serve as a model to youth in the State.

“It is hoped that you will help inspire our teeming youths to channel their energies towards positive engagements and shun vices such as robbery, drug abuse, cultism, advanced fee fraud, cybercrimes and kidnapping amongst other negative tendencies”, he said.

He described LAYCON’s conduct in the House as a demonstrating the Omoluabi component, the primary ingredient of an Ogun State born Nigerian, observing that despite all the odds, temptations and provocations, he was able to come out unscathed and uninvolved in any scandal or immoral act.

“You have also demonstrated with the way you carried out your assigned tasks in the House with comportment; intellectual responses to questions and; your spirit of fair-play, that your academic achievement at the University of Lagos was earned. This has also shown that our Universities can and still produce graduates that are found worthy in character and good learning.

“Indeed, what we are celebrating today is much more than the entertainment that the House provided, but what you represent: a rare combination of prodigious intellect, academic excellence, multi-faceted talents, character and resilience. I believe, your career will draw inspiration from great sons and daughters of Ogun State who have made their mark in their choosen careers”, he added.

The Governor said he was impressed with LAYCON’s display while in the House, admonished parents and guardians to help in nurturing individual talents of their children and wards to enable them be useful to themselves and the society in the future.

Parents and guardians, the Governor opined, should realize that there was life outside the four walls of classrooms, as entertainers are also successful men and women who are contributing to national development.




Governor Abiodun noted that his administration would continue to unleash the creative energies of the youth and the generality of the people as innovators, academic, researchers, entertainers, creative artists in the public or private sector, formal or non-formal, in and outside Ogun State, for the continued development of the State, and Nigeria as a whole.

To achieve this, Prince Abiodun revealed that plans are at advanced stage to build an Entertainment Village for film makers, artists and musicians where their skills could be nurtured with added value for our socio-economic development.

An excited Laycon praised the Governor for his youth-oriented programmes and promised to work with him to ensure that the “Building Our Future Together” Agenda of his government is successful.

A video which just surfaced the internet has shown the moment DMW boss, #Davido angrily threw down a male fan’s phone, while trying to get a selfie with the singer.

The ‘Fem’ crooner recently landed in Ghana and his Ghanaian fans crowded around him with most of them demanding for a selfie with him.

Amid the crowd, a particular male fan stretched out his phone towards the singer to take a selfie, and Davido quickly slapped the phone out of his hand.

In just a few days after emerging winner of the 2020 edition of the Big Brother Nigeria reality TV show and barely 24 hours of receiving the N85 million grand prize, a lady, whose name is yet to be confirmed, has surfaced on social media claiming to have a child for #Laycon.
In viral Video, she alleged that the BBN star had sex with her after a party at QILOX, a popular destination for topshots in Lagos.

The Lady said that after the “one night stand” the Big Brother Naija star gave her his contact which she found to be not correct when she tried to reach out to him.

The lady said later on, she started throwing up and noticing other symptoms of pregnancy a few months after the sexual intercourse occurred between them.

She claimed that she decided to voice out when she saw Laycon on the popular BBnaija show.
Laycon has, however, reacted to the claim through his handlers, led by Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez.

Gomez described the video as false, saying the BBN Lockdown winner doesn’t know the lady and has never met her.

In her words:

#Laycon, winner of the Big Brother Nigeria season 5, has said he never thought he would win the reality TV show.
Laycon said he had always thought Dorathy would win.

Dorathy was the first runner up in the show that ended on Sunday, with Laycon going home with the N85 million grand prize.

But in an interview with Ebuka on Monday, Laycon said he only saw himself in second position behind Dorathy.

“I never [at any point] thought I would win. [I asked myself] why not Dorathy?

“Because at the back of my mind, I didn’t even come here to win. I came here to promote my song and myself.

“[When I got to the top 5] I placed myself in second position because Neo has been up before.

“Vee has been up before. Nengi I’ve really not seen her up against major people so, in my head it was Vee, Neo, Nengi, me and Dora.”

BBNaija season 5 winner #Laycon has been dragged on Instagram for unfollowing Erica hours after he followed her but apparently, #Erica blocked him forcing him to unfollow her.
According to Laycon’s brother, Erica blocked him hours after his page handler followed all the housemates including her forcing him to unfollow as someone automatically unfollow others when they block them.

Even though it’s not Laycon’s fault, he has been dragged but after his brother revealed Erica blocked him some are now asking why he followed her in the first place knowing well she’s not cool with him.
